PDF Supporters of the Ground Zero mosque were surprised to see their buddy Imam Feisal Rauf suddenly dumped as spiritual leader of what was first Cordoba House and is now known at 51Park. Rauf and his wife Daisy Kahn moved easily through the cocktail party circuit, schmoozing with wealthy liberals like Mayor Bloomberg and Arianna Huffington. Rauf’s replacement is unfamiliar to them, and his circle of friends may prove to be quite a bit more radical than Imam Rauf’s.
The new spiritual leader, Shaykh Abdallah Adhami, was born in Washington, DC and received a degree in architecture from a New York university; however, he could hardly be thought of as Americanized. Adhami, who claims to be a lineal descendent of the Prophet Mohammed, was from the age of eight until adulthood trained in sharia law and the Koran in Syria, Egypt, and Morocco. Today, he lives with his family in Damascus, Syria, and travels widely as a lecturer on Islam.
As far as is known at this time, his lectures are not militant in tone, yet some of his associations are setting off loud alarm bells even among tolerant, liberal supporters of the mosque. One associate who is definitely not “tolerant” is Imam Siraj Wahhaj, the extremely radical leader of a Black Muslim congregation in Brooklyn. Wahhaj was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Spewing more anti-American vitriol than the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Wahhaj sells books and tapes at his Brooklyn mosque (which was personally designed by architect Shaykh Abdallah Adhami). In some of these sources, Siraj Wahhaj calls America a “garbage can” and looks forward to the day when America will “…crumble, and there will be nothing. And the only thing that will remain will be Islam.” According to the book Muslim Mafia, Wahhaj told his congregation: “If we go to war, brothers and sisters,and one day we will, believe me, that’s why you’re commanded (to fight in) jihad. When Allah demands us to fight, we’re not stopping and nobody’s stopping us.”
Far from condemning such calls to jihad, Abdallah Adhami praises Wahhaj at the website of Sakeenah, an organization founded and directed by Adhami. Abdallah Adhami may not publicly say vicious things about jihad in America as Wahhaj does, but how can he praise Wahhaj and assist with building him a mosque, without agreeing with the things he says?
Along with new leadership, the description of the mega mosque has morphed once again. At first it was said the Islamic center would have community meeting rooms, restaurants, a pool, many dormitory rooms, and a “prayer room.” Now, the prayer room is planned to be a “prayer space for a congregation of about 1,000″ and there will also be “athletic facilities, a day care center, art galleries, an auditorium for cultural events, and a 9/11 memorial.”

The question is, where have YOU been??!!

On her blog “the shrugging atlas with a naked golden lady image”, she’s been lying and exaggerating about this community center, even though the facts were revealed to her then. She is a zionist with anti-Islamic sentiments based on her inability to differentiate terrorists from law-abiding Muslim, in America or abroad.
